This week, classical pianist Hunter Noack performed at Mt. Pisgah Arboretum, a favorite hiking location. His music – labeled “Classical Music in the Wild” – was phenomenal! You can find details at this website.

____________
“Classical Music in the Wild brings together the two things Noack loves most: classical music and the great outdoors.”
____________

“For the 11th season, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the WildTM tours the American West. Mountain tops, old-growth forests, and sunny meadows replace the traditional concert hall in the series featuring pianist Hunter Noack on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano.”
Noack flawlessly played music from well-known composers, including Franz Liszt, Frédéric Chopin, and Sergei Rachmaninoff. I was fascinated with the concept and truly enjoyed every minute of the uplifting experience! I didn’t take many photos but have included some beautiful ones found online. It was truly a memorable evening!

After my last extended trip, it’s been a quiet, contemplative summer, spending time gardening and getting caught up with maintenance. Another trip is planned for 2027 – when and where to be determined. More later…
