WordPress in Turkey

Since arriving in Datca, I’ve had trouble using WordPress. Accessing the dashboard to edit or add new posts has been a headache – and that’s really putting it mildly. I changed browsers and made other modifications – nothing worked. The amount of time it takes to edit and create posts is prohibitive – there would be no time left to enjoy the trip.

After some research, I realized that this might be a Turkish censorship issue and continue to think that’s the case. I’m respectful in my posts, but anything can happen when traveling abroad…

I’ll continue trying to post on WordPress, as the blog site is my personal travel journal – not an attempt to get likes, attract and influence followers, or make political commentary. Posting regularly is the best way to maintain a meaningful record of my travels. However, there may be a lull in posts, until I resurface in another country. Best to all!
