Friendship With Cambodia Trunk Show Eugene Oregon

Friendship With Cambodia’s (FWC’s) 2012 Trunk Show is Friday, March 23rd, from 2 to 8 pm. The fun event gives Friendship With Cambodia supporters an opportunity to preview recently purchased fair-trade crafts made in Cambodia – including stylish silk scarves, handbags, jewelry, greeting cards, home décor, and more. The crafts made by Cambodian organizations like Saomao (www.saomao.com) use bomb shells left over from the war to create innovation jewelry. Saomao seeks “sustainable solutions to long-term problems of poverty, promoting social development through crafts and fair trade”.

Purchase of these beautiful and unique crafts benefits humanitarian aid programs in Cambodia. “The crafts are purchased directly from Cambodian non-profit organizations that offer training in self-sustaining job skills for people facing life challenges from landmine injuries, domestic violence, sex-trafficking, AIDS, and poverty. The craft producers receive a fair wage.”

I volunteer with Friendship With Cambodia and support their efforts and goals.

Great blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

WordPress is a great way to get started with a blog. You can start out with their free platform and later change to a paid option if you like. I’ve farily new to blogging and created this one to keep track of my travels – it works for me!

We would like to thank you again for the stunning ideas you offered Jeremy when preparing her own post-graduate research in addition to, most importantly, pertaining to providing the many ideas in a single blog post. If we had been aware of your site a year ago, we might have been kept from the needless measures we were selecting. Thanks to you.
